Its Chinese New Year Eve and Im sitting at my study table enjoying the full view of the fireworks being displayed outside. Everyone else is sleeping and I must admit if not for the fireworks, its quiet this year. Usually there will be parties around the neighbourhood and my family would have all its members at the gathering. Year after year it gets smaller and smaller. People get married, migrate or just busy working. Gone were the days when we were brats (im still one hehe) running around the house receving ang pows (I still do thank God!). So I chose to dig into my old sketch books to have a look at my old artwork. Which still makes me wonder how on earth did I manage to draw that? If you'd ask me to sketch on the spot Id have difficulties trying to keep up with what I did previously. Guess you can say I sketch based on my moods.
Like the time when I used to be so damn crazy about LOTR that I spent hours and hours bent on my table sketching Frodo and his friends. Hah. Yeah bet you're wondering wtf? Frodo? Had a thing for hobbits. Hahahahha..But I couldnt find that sketch book but I found one of Aragorn.
